Nagarjuna’s big-budget socio-fantasy entertainer Damarukam directed by Srinivas Reddy and produced by Venkat of RR Movie Makers has hit the big-screens today on grand scale. The premier shows and first shows of Damarukam have been completed and way2movies brings you Dhamarukam public talk

Nagarjuna looked superb throughout the film. His six-pack look is refreshing and his dances in Sakku Bhai, and cool steps in romantic melody Nesthama Nesthama were quite good.

The story revolves around Anushka [Maheshwari] character but the actress has few significant scenes. The villain in the film Ravi Shankar looked powerful and evil, he was amazing as a performer.

Devi Sri Prasad’s background score and music are highlights of the movie. Nagarjuna, Anushka’s chemistry was good especially in the songs.

Damarukam has stunning visuals and it looked high on technical front. The story deals with the battle between the good and evil with the backdrop of Lord Shiva story. Srinivas Reddy has done good research which is visible on screens. The screenplay is engaging even though it is predictable.

The first half of the film is engaging while the tempo reduces in the second half a bit but the last half an hour was extremely good.
